What is the difference between DAV and wounded warriors?
Both are nonprofits whose aim is to help service members who were wounded or became ill while serving. But the Disabled American Veterans is a membership organization while the Wounded Warrior Project raises funds and provides an array of services.
How much does DAV membership cost?
DAV life membership is $300. We offer flexible payment plans starting at $10 a month. Once you become a member of DAV, you are a member for life. For veterans age 80 or older, DAV membership is free.
