How to Make Organic Chicken Manchurian

Chinese food is our go-to comfort food. However, the take-out just doesn’t hit home, does it? And who knows what kind of chicken or meat they are using. But not to worry! Today, we are here with an excellent recipe featuring halal organic chicken, Chicken Manchurian!

Served most commonly with vegetable or egg friend rice, Chicken Manchurian is the perfect gravy dish for all occasions. If you want to learn how to make it, simply follow our recipe:

 Ingredients:

For the Organic Chicken Marinade:

  • Organic Chicken Cubes (boneless) 1/4 kg
  • Black Pepper Powder              1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg Whites 1
  • Salt              to taste
  • Red Chilli Flakes                           5 teaspoon
  • Soya Sauce                                        1 teaspoon
  • Cornflour                           2-3 tablespoon
  • Mustard Paste                           1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika Powder              1 teaspoon

For the Curry:

  • Organic Chicken Cubes (boneless) 1/4 kg
  • Spring Onion Leaves              6-7
  • Garlic (chopped)              1/2 tablespoon
  • Ginger (chopped)              1/2 tablespoon
  • Soya Sauce              2 tablespoons
  • Chilli Sauce                                        1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar                                                   2 teaspoon
  • Cornflour                                        1 tablespoon
  • Organic Chicken Stock or Water              1/2 cup
  • Brown Sugar                           1/2 teaspoon
  • Capsicum                                           2
  • Tomato Ketchup              2 tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green Chillies 3
  • Sesame Oil                                                                            5 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by marinating the organic chicken. For that, mix all the ingredients mentioned above and apply to the organic chicken cubes.
  2. After marinating, fry the organic chicken cubes until they become golden-brown in color. Now place a slotted spoon against the chicken and drain it.
  3. Once done, leave your organic chicken on some absorbent paper for a while.
  4. While the chicken is expelling the excess content, take a separate frying pan, add some oil, garlic and fry it for about 30 seconds at a high flame.
  5. After 30 seconds, add the ginger and chillies and continue frying.
  6. After a few seconds, add some capsicum and onion and continue frying for around 3 minutes.
  7. Once the three minutes are over, starting adding soya sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar and brown sugar into the pan.
  8. Ensure that the ingredients are mixed and cook for about 2 minutes.
  9. Now add 1/4 cup of water or organic chicken stock into the mixture.
  10. Continue cooking for about 1 minute before pouring in the sesame oil.
  11. Now take your organic chicken resting on the absorbent paper, and cook for at least 5 minutes.
  12. Add salt if required.
  13. Add some cornflour into water and pour it into the curry to make the paste thicker.
  14. Mix everything well and take it off the flame. Your Manchurian is ready to be served.

If you are planning to serve your dish with a bit of rice, make sure they are long grain rice. They may take some time to cook, but trust us! They will not get sticky and will be excellent in texture.
